Founded in 1988 Simpson Refractories originally started with the repair and maintenance of rotary cement kiln burning zones. Our dry lining speed, high standard of workmanship and 24-hour availability earned us a reputation for excellence and we were quickly in demand by companies with rotary kilns. As such we have worked with all the major cement and lime manufacturers.

Even though our reputation has been built on our dry-lining, bedded and mortared brickwork expertise, as technology has advanced, so have we.

We have Brokk robotically controlled demolition machines that dramatically reduce the manpower required for wrecking refractory brickwork. It’s also a process that is much safer and faster than the labour-intensive ways of the recent past thus reducing downtime significantly and saving money. We also supply operatives for plant cleaning and maintenance.

Senior management team
